Mash 2006 came off with a bang, thousands of Guyanese and foreigners lined the streets to get a glimpse of the colorful costumes and floats as they made their way to the National Park for final judging. Many along the parade route said that this just may be the biggest Mashramani celebration that they have ever witnessed, this just might be very true indeed. Mash 2006 was spectacular.

Banks DIH Ltd and the PNC/R had the two largest bands on the streets, both of them boasting of hundreds of revelers in their midst. The Banks DIH costumes and floats were nothing short of spectacular, the bright bold colors and the intricate costumes created a true carnival effect as their revelers tramped through the streets of Georgetown. The photos below will tell the rest of the story.
